Abstract

In the current context the demand of the sugar market has diminished and with it its prices, for what the evaluation of alternatives is required for the escalation and conversion of industrial facilities to adapt them to the requirements and demands of the market with derived products of the cane of sugar that propitiate new alternatives of territorial development fomenting new employments. This alone development one will be able to achieve by means of the bond among the centers of knowledge, the companies and the interests of the governments that favor the technological development of the companies.  In the work a strategy is based, elaborated thanks to the collaboration of the scientific community, for the conversion of the facilities of the industry of the cane of sugar in biorefinery for the incorporation of new energy and environmentally efficient productions, through a strait collaborative work that includes the incorporation of the specialists from the companies to the studies of graduate degrees designing its works directed to solve specific problems of the conversion of the industry of the cane of sugar. Finally, specific examples are presented in which the conversion of industrial facilities has been achieved by means of the bond university-company on behalf of the territorial developments. With this study it is demonstrated that the bond University-company-government plays an important paper in the technological development of the territory, all time that the satisfaction of the demand is achieved keeping in mind the existent industries and analyzing its conversion to adapt them to the new requirements of the market.
