How to apply the mathematics in the career of forest engineering

The material present responds to a current problem of the teaching-learning process in the students of the career of Forest Engineering in the University of Granma. In the investigation a system of problems is elaborated that favor the development of its culture in a general way and on the forest engineering in particular, starting from the formulation and the resolution of problems mathematical profesionalizated. Mathematical theoretical, empiric and statistical methods are used. The problems are directed to favor the preparation of the students in the Mathematical discipline with the purpose of elevating their motivation for the discipline and the career.
