Erectile dysfunction (ED) is defined as difficulty in getting or maintaining a penis erection necessary for satisfactory sexual intercourse. The objective of this research is to search for articles that address physical therapy as a treatment for erectile dysfunction in which scientific data will be analyzed in order to know the most effective physiotherapy treatments for erectile dysfunction. A scientific search was carried out based on different platforms such as: PubMed, ScienceDirect, Scopus, Scielo and Google Scholar, applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, resulting 7 analyzed articles. Different physiotherapeutic treatments are used based on the use of shock waves, pelvic floor training, platelet-rich plasma, electrical stimulation and drugs, getting significant results for the treatment of ED. Physiotherapy can be considered an effective and non-invasive treatment for erectile dysfunction. However, the need for further research and interdisciplinary collaboration is emphasized to integrate this therapeutic treatment.
