Abstract

The teaching of the mother tongue is a major aspect of early childhood education. Learning to read and write is one of the greatest desires of students in the early years. Through pedagogical practice it has been proven that many students use more time than the norm to achieve these goals. Their families do not have the necessary preparation to develop their true role in contributing to their learning. In the present work the authors design a set of activities that contribute to achieve a greater preparation of the students' families with the objective of favoring the learning of reading and writing by their children.
