Abstract

The investigation that is presented considers the formative potentialities of the recreational physical activities in the free time, to contribute to the formation of the first year-old students in Tourism. The activities are appreciated with a formative focus, contextualized and participative, in the summary of the information and analysis of the results analytic theoretical methods are used - synthetic, inductive - deductive and of the empiric level, the observation, the survey and the interview. They are kept in mind the materialistic dialectical conception, the contributions of the Cuban pedagogic pattern that he/she declares the significance of the systemic interrelation among the instruction, the education and the development like essential complements of the formative process of the students. This perspective evidences the interpretive logic continued in the process of the students' formation, from the interrelation of the recreational activities physics and its potentialities, starting from the educational and instructive objectives of the professional's pattern and educational strategies. With the application of the proposal their relevancy is corroborated when having the appropriation as a result for the contained partner's students - humanist and academic in function in the performance ways like professional future of the tourism.
