Abstract

This article presents a literature review with the purpose of analyzing the components that make up the interventions aimed at reducing childhood obesity. The methodology followed is cross-sectional descriptive observational; and the information search strategy used was the PRISMA statement. As a result, behavioral interventions and those based on cognitive behavioral therapy were found to be the most effective. The components with the highest scientific reliability are nutrition, physical activity, sedentary lifestyle, sleep and the psychological component.
