Técnicas fisioterapéuticas aplicadas a la disfunción eréctil: revisión sistemática

La disfunción eréctil se define como la dificultad para lograr o mantener una erección del pene necesaria para un desempeño sexual satisfactorio. El objetivo de dicha investigación es buscar artículos que aborden la fisioterapia como tratamiento para la disfunción eréctil. En la cual se analizará la evidencia científica disponible y será proporcionada una visión clara sobre los tratamientos fisioterapéuticos más efectivos destinados para la disfunción eréctil. Se llevó a cabo una búsqueda científica en diferentes plataformas: PubMed, ScienceDirect, Scopus, Scielo y Google Académico aplicándose los criterios de inclusión y exclusión teniendo como resultado 7 artículos a analizar. Se abarcan distintos tratamientos fisioterapéuticos basados en la utilización de ondas de choque, entrenamientos del suelo pélvico, plasma rico en plaquetas, estimulación eléctrica y fármacos, de los cuales se obtuvieron resultados significativos para el tratamiento de la DE. La fisioterapia puede ser considerada como un tratamiento efectivo y no invasivo para la disfunción eréctil, sin embargo, se enfatiza la necesidad de una mayor investigación y colaboración interdisciplinaria para integrar plenamente esta modalidad terapéutica.
